Oman raises concern over BRENT CRUDE benchmarking , and has raised voice for the adoption of new benchmarking system before the international bodies. Benchmarking is the standard pricing which the majority of crude oil producers follow worldwide. The concern is all over the world production of crude is rising. But if we look year on year the BRENT CRUDE production is decreasing. Production is rising but still prices are not coming down. Approx 2/3 of the world crude oil producers follow Brent benchmarking. There is a serious debate in the international market regarding BRENT benchmarking.
